What About Bob? Let's Get Help For This Struggling Man

See how Get Marty is taking action to get Bob off the streets and in a better place.

When you're coming down Pittsburgh's Penn Avenue approaching the 16th Street Bridge you can see it from blocks away. As you get closer, you start to realize what you're seeing.

The piles of garbage bags, blankets, boxes and other items stacks nearly four feet high and stretches halfway down the block.

When I saw the man on Tuesday, I made this post on Facebook and Twitter:

Since then I've learned more about this man, starting with his name. This is Bob. He's been at this location for most of this year, and his piles on the sidewalk have been growing ever since.

Since my post on social media, my phone has been blowing up with messages from amazing people who want to help.

This afternoon I had to reach out, had to talk to Bob. This is our conversation:

Bob has been on the streets alone for 19 years.

We're finding him a home. We are getting him help.

How can you start something good?

Do you know someone who needs help? Do you want to help someone out? I want to hear from you.
