Wacky Weather Weekend; Better Days Ahead?

Beautiful Saturday, high winds Sunday, snow Monday! Will spring ever be here?

Wasn't Saturday beautiful? I was on the University of Pittsburgh campus and saw students lounging on the lawn between the Cathedral of Learning and Heinz Chapel. Nearby another group of students had a volleyball tournament going in front of the Cathedral.

In downtown Pittsburgh, Market Square was full of people relaxing in the sun, and nearly every restaurant was full.

Then came Sunday and a cold front that brought cold weather and high winds, even spawning tornados in Ohio and north central PA. If it wasn't tied down or nailed down, chances are whatever it was blew over or away.

Never fear: forecasters say the weather will improve, and we might even hit 80 on Thursday. KDKA TV's Ron Smiley predicts 60's and 70's and the possibility of some rain on Easter weekend.
