With Valentine's Day fast approaching, it's not too late to put together a magical date your significant other is sure to love. Here are some date ideas that are still possible -- and affordable.

- Valentines on Ice

Romance will be in the air at the Schenley Park Skating Rink on Valentine's Day night. Couples can skate under the stars from 7 to 10 p.m., and the first 200 couples receive a rose and chocolates! Romantic music will set the mood on the ice while salsa dancing and hot beverages heat things up inside. It's only $5 per couple, and please, no kids allowed.

- See a Movie at Row House Cinema

Even though there's nothing necessarily special about catching a movie, there is when you do it at the Row House Cinema. Row House Cinema is a single screen theater in the historic Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh with a different movie theme each week. This week's theme is labeled "Women Direct Horror" and focuses on some horror films directed by women from around the world.

The experience at Row House Cinema stretches well beyond the movie. They serve their famous chocolate popcorn, craft beer, locally made ice cream, pepperoni rolls, hot dogs, coffee, tea and even vegan options.

- Pittsburgh Glass Center

For those who prefer a more hands-on approach to the holiday, you'll absolutely love this cool event at the Pittsburgh Glass Center. You're invited to learn about glass and enjoy activities that demonstrate the importance of teamwork in the creative process. Make a glass flower in the hot shop ($40), craft your own personalized love letter in the kiln shop or make a heart-shaped pendant in the flame shop ($30 each). Don't be intimidated because no experience is required. Walk-ins are even welcome.

No matter how you and your partner decide to spend the holiday, loving each other is the most important thing. There's also still time to enter our Valentine's Day giveaway.
