The 10 Best (And Weirdest) Things You Missed at Picklesburgh
The largest specialty food festival in America was back in the 'burgh this weekend and offered up tons of wild, wacky flavors for foodies and pickle-enthusiasts from across the country.
I ate and elbowed my way through the fourth annual Picklesburgh Festival this weekend, aka the country's largest specialty food event, doing my due *dill-igence* to bring you the best (and weirdest) things I saw, ate, and snapped. If the crowds were a little *jarring* for you, rest assured that there are rumors that the festival will spread out across two bridges next year - yeah, it's that big of a dill.

Love was in the air this year and we were relishing in this proposal!
2| Dill Pickle Sorbet
July is national ice cream month so no one was surprised to see some dill-flavored ice creams and sorbets. I opted for the latter and while I'm definitely not here to yuck anyone's yum, it did *not* tickle my pickle.
3| Chocolate-covered Pickles

Before you start to judge, the flavor is similar to a chocolate-covered potato chip. So if that's your cup of brine, you would have loved these.
Kelly, Living the Dream
Ah, a dill-lightful crowd pleaser. As basic as it is, it was my favorite.
5| A Huge Heinz Pickle Float
Everyone snapping pictures of this of this huge balloon, taking selfies, and gherkin their angles.
6| Pickle Fudge

I'm not sure if they simply went light on the vinegar, but this fudge was dill-icious. I credit a lot of that to it's smooth texture and light flavor.
7| Pickle Margaritas

While some were stronger with the vinegary-brine than others, no one says no to tequila.
8| Pittsburgh Pickle Company Tattoos
The guys over at Picklesburgh were having the most fun.
Only the most dill-igient pickle fans would dare stick this temporary tat on their skin (let alone on their neck).
9| Bacon-wrapped pickles
10| Pickle Merch

The festival went beyond food and introduced pickle-inspired gear, like these cute totes.
