Style in the 412
Style412 asks: What do we need to do to grow the Pittsburgh fashion industry?
"Connection is a really important word," says Elysia, Style412's effortlessly elegant and poised founder. She ignited the local conversation about Pittsburgh fashion by bringing together a group of passionate and fashionable locals, and quickly realized that to grow the Pittsburgh style community, she needed to unite like-minded people.
Enter Sara, the shark-wrangling style expert (seriously - she catches, tags, and releases sharks) and networking goddess, who has helped build the brand by exploring intersection of fashion and technology, encouraged by their partnership with Carnegie Mellon University and annual Lunar Gala Fashion Show.
Today, Style412 has grown into a cohort of novice and professional designers, models, stylists, and manufacturers. "We exist to serve talent and creatives," Elysia says, who is focused on mentoring the next wave of makers.
