Whispering Pines Farm is an eclectic farm north of Pittsburgh, nestled between large patches of open land and pockets of tall, burly pine trees. Owned by a former New York interior designer with a passion for animals and art, this farm is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. But you'll have the opportunity to explore the land, scenery, and hundreds of vendors during their 2-day Festival in The Woods on September 21st and 22nd.

Beyond dreaming up iconically-designed glamping opportunities and hand-built chicken coups, this farm is raising money for the Guardian Angel Medical Service Dogs (GAMSD), a non-profit that provides veterans with service dogs.

GAMSD has rescued, trained, and donated over 300 medical service dogs to deserving humans since 2010. Through this non-profit, those in need will never pay for their new buddy. And that’s a huge deal, considering most service dogs cost upwards of $20,000.

GAMSD is funded entirely by donations and private grant support. If you can’t make the festival, but still want to support the cause, you can donate directly to Guardian Angel Medical Service Dogs and help get veterans the support they deserve.
