Stairlift Donation Helps Woman Battling Lung Cancer
He's done it again... a local business owner with a huge heart is helping a woman battling lung cancer get around in her own home
Folks, I've got a good one for you today. It's both heartbreaking and heartwarming. You're about to meet Sharon Flynn of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania. She's 49 years old and fighting for her life against stage 4 lung cancer.
Sharon Flynn and her daughter talk to Marty about her battle with lung cancer.
Sharon has pretty much been stuck on the first floor of her home, unable to get upstairs to her own bedroom and bathroom.
This brave woman is surrounded by loving family members but they all needed help.
We were able to connect Sharon with an amazing man and his company, A+ Stairlifts of Pittsburgh . Carl D'Alicandro is a good as they come. His team met us at Sharon's home, ready to install a stairlift... and get this, they did it all for free. That folks is kindness exemplified.
Check out Sharon's first ride as she learns to operate her new stairlift:
By the way this isn't Carl's first act of kindness. Back in December we were able to connect him with another family in need. You can check out that story by clicking here.
