Sparkt CEO Joins Panel on School Crisis Communications

"No comment" is the worst thing a public information officer can say to a reporter.


When a crisis hits a school district, timing is critical to get information to parents and the community. That is why it's imperative that organizations have a plan in place and know how to put it in action before there's a real crisis happening. Sparkt founder and CEO, Marty Griffin, was invited to join the panel of experts during a training session for school leaders and public information officers.

As part of the panel discussion Marty was asked about his experience covering stories. He also shared his experience as an investigative reporter and things he's seen that were done the right way and the wrong way.
