Lots of us say we'd do anything to help the senior citizens in our communities, but employees in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District are actually walking the talk.
They're holding a Community Caring Day on Friday, May 3 from 11:30 am - 4:00 pm. During that time administrators, teachers and professional staff will volunteer to do yard work, home repairs, and run local errands for senior citizen residents of Baldwin Borough, Baldwin Township, and Whitehall Borough.
You have to sign up ahead of time, and registration may be limited depending on the number of requests, so sign up now. Your request must be able to be completed between 11:30 am - 4:00 pm.
Register for services by calling the district administration office at (412) 884-6300 ext. 7231. You can see their flier and any updated information on the school district's Facebook page.
