Pitt Celebrates Educator Appreciation Day

Discount Men's Basketball tickets available for Saturday.

The University of Pittsburgh is honoring teachers and other education professionals this weekend. Saturday is Educator Appreciation Day at the Peterson Events Center, and all educators, university employees and their families can buy discounted tickets for the Men's Basketball game vs. Virginia Tech.

Tickets for educators and their families start at just $15, plus you'll be able to get your picture taken at center court after the game. You can purchase tickets online or contact the Athletics Department for more information.

It should be an exciting ACC matchup, with the Pitt Panthers taking on conference rival Virginia Tech, currently ranked #22 in the country. Tip off is at 4:30 p.m. in Oakland.
