Photos of Kindness Spread Compassion Around the World
You'll be amazed! Now they want you to share your images in their annual competition.
Did you know that being kinder and more compassionate can make you feel happier? Scientists say it's true, and at Sparkt we've felt it through you and the wonderful people we meet when you -- and we -- tell their stories on this website.
The folks at an organization called Envision Kindness say simply seeing kindness can have the same effect. It's why they've created a whole website devoted to spreading joy through images of kindness, compassion, joy and love on video and in still photography. The photo at the top of this post, snapped by Leyla Emektar, captured it for me today -- check out their website to find your inspiration .

Envison Kindness wants your pictures.
The organization's 2019 Our World is Kind: The Global Photography Contest is underway. They're looking for the most inspiring images from kind and talented photographers around the world.

Their Facebook page says so far they have about 500 entries. Last year they got 2000+ submissions from 850+ photographers in over 100 countries. The 2018 winner (above), 2017 winner (below) and many of the other entries show you that when they say this is an international competition, they mean it. Don't wait to enter: the deadline is June 30.

This year Envison Kindness has added a new twist that will pay it forward. Capture the work of your favorite non profit or volunteer organization and be eligible for a new prize that celebrates their work.
Even if you're not a photographer, if you want to smile or need a boost today (or any day) you'll want to look at the entries from previous years in their gallery, and inspire someone else by sharing your stories and images on their Facebook page.
