Oakmont Bakery Owner Addresses Traffic Concerns

In a candid interview with Marty Griffin, owner Marc Serrao talks about traffic issues and parking complaints related to opening of the new Oakmont Bakery.

You folks know me as a straight shooter and my good friend Marc Serrao is cut from the same cloth. While PennDOT is helping the Borough of Oakmont review traffic concerns around the new Oakmont Bakery, Marc addressed some of the parking complaints during our straightforward discussion and some of the bad information some people are spreading on social media.

Since the new bakery opened, Marc says business has definitely increased more than he expected and he expects it to eventually scale back. He says that will help with some of the congestion.

In the meantime, he's put up additional signs to let customers know about the 100+ parking spaces behind the bakery that you can get to by turning on "Sweet Street" from Hulton Road.
