The Statewide Recreational Marijuana Legalization Listening Tour is coming to Western Pennsylvania. It's your opportunity to have a voice as state lawmakers decide whether to make cannabis for personal use legal in Pennsylvania. Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman is conducting the tour.
The tour comes to The Center on Strawberry in Washington County on February 18th and stops at Waynesburg University's Alumni Hall on the 19th. Fetterman will be speaking and taking public comment at both locations from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Remaining dates and locations haven't been announced, so keep checking the tour website.
While Fetterman supports legalization, he has said he wants this tour to be about what the people want. This was especially evident when a man tried to debate with him at the first tour session in Harrisburg Monday. "My views aren't important tonight," Fetterman told him.
"We want to make sure all Pennsylvanians have a say," Lt. Gov. John Fetterman, on his marijuana legalization listening tour
