Go-karting with a twist is coming to Pittsburgh as part of a 16-city tour. A re-creation of the famous video game will be in Pittsburgh in September.

Mushroom Rally Tour participants will race on a Mario Kart themed racetrack while dressed as their favorite Mario Kart characters like Luigi, Princess Peach, and of course Mario. There are only 600 tickets available for this event. Tickets will go on sale in the next two weeks. The date and exact location have not yet been released.

The Mushroom Rally Tour gets underway this month in Los Angeles and then moves across the country, including throughout Ohio in June. A final will be held in Las Vegas later in the year. Twenty spots are available in the final.

Here are the three ways to advance to the final:

1. Having the fastest lap time in your city.

2. Collecting the most stars in your city (Top 3 in the country will go to Vegas)

3. A lottery - Every person that purchases a ticket to the event , will be entered into a lottery. The winner will be announced through Facebook live, which means as long as you have purchased a ticket you have the chance to win.
