We all want happy children and healthy families. Sparkt's Kids & Family section will help you find ways to get both through stories about people doing all they can to make life better for kids and families in their communities.

Sometimes, these stories are about adults helping Kids & Families become the best they can be. Like the business owners in different parts of the country who launched cafés to help young people on the autism spectrum succeed at meaningful jobs. Or the restaurant owner who invited a boy who got in trouble for doodling too much to decorate the eatery's walls. And the hospital janitor who helped two boys in isolation use a common hobby to become friends even though they couldn't meet in person. And we love stories about kids working to make life better for other kids. Like the High School Homecoming Court who went barefoot in solidarity with a fellow contestant who couldn't wear high heels because of a disability, the students who created a musical prosthesis for a classmate, born without an arm, who wanted to play the cello. And the high schoolers who started an after-school club to get young kids as excited about STEM as they are.

As always, on our Kids & Families story sections, we'll have links to more information so you can support these efforts and get great ideas you can do to #StartSomethingGood for children where you live!
