Help Homeless Animals by Wrapping Presents
Find a great holiday-season volunteering opportunity with Sparkt's "25 Days of Christmas." Volunteer to wrap presents at the mall with Humane Animal Rescue, to benefit homeless pets.
We know fans of Sparkt are also fans of helping others, especially during the holidays. It's why, through the month of December, we're giving you "25 Days of Volunteering," our top picks for volunteer opportunities around the area. These are activities you can do with your family, a group of friends, even co-workers or classmates.
Today is December 1, and our first volunteer opportunity is holiday gift wrapping for charity. That's where volunteers wrap presents at local malls in exchange for a donation, which goes to fund their pet projects.
In the case of Humane Animal Rescue, gift wrapping is literally a "pet project." They're looking for volunteers to help them raise money for their animal shelters by staffing wrap kiosks at the Mall at Robinson and the Galleria Mt. Lebanon. Hours are flexible, and no experience is necessary!
Wrapping at the Mall at Robinson is during regular mall hours through December 24th. At the Galleria they're looking for volunteers on Fridays and weekends through December 23rd. Click here for the specific hours, and to sign up for a shift.
Don't like wrapping but still want to help homeless animals? Stop by one of the wrapping kiosks and let the volunteers get your holiday gift wrapping done while you shop!
