Free Conference Offers Info on Solar Power

Learn more about solar power for your home, and solar policy in Pennsylvania.


If you're interested in solar energy for your home or business--you have the chance to learn more about the future of solar energy in our state. The Pennsylvania Solar Congress is a free public conference in Wilkinsburg this weekend.

The event features a full itinerary of presentations, including discussions on solar policy in Pennsylvania, converting your home to solar energy, and the future of electric vehicles. The event is open to everyone, whether you already are using solar power or just want to learn more.

The conference is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Community Forge on Franklin Ave. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. You can RSVP and see the full schedule of events here.

Pennsylvania Solar Congress is sponsored by Solar United Neighbors, a non-profit "dedicated to representing the needs and interests of solar owners and supporters."
