See Where We Found a Fountain of Youth, and Its Story
The Fountain of Youth.
For centuries people have been looking for this spring that supposedly restores the youth of anyone who drinks from or bathes in it. In the 16th century, the explorer Ponce De Leon tried and failed to find it in Florida. So you might be surprised to find out we discovered the Fountain of Youth in the woods of a community park in Southwestern Pennsylvania!
Well, OK, let's say we found a Fountain of Youth there, and with it, the story of a quirky little footnote in history.
While you can't drink from this fountain any more, it's a fun place to visit and take a selfie. The area has been well preserved, with minor restorations in 2005 and 2005 to repair some of the rock work and re-mount the stone disk which had fallen off.
If you do go, y ou'll want to wear some sturdy footwear because the path will take you down a steep hill and over a creek. If you don't want to make that short trek don't fear. The fountain is easily visible from Kummer Road , and there's a small gravel patch where you can pull off. So if you're looking for a fun hike or a cool photo op, check it out!
As for eternal youth, maybe just invest in a good moisturizer.
