Do You Know Who Did This?

Help Sparkt catch the vandals who trashed fallen officer's tribute sign.

If you live in Pittsburgh it's hard to forget the day Pittsburgh police officer Paul Sciullo was killed. Even if you don't live in Pittsburgh it would be hard not to be mad about what happened at his parent's house overnight.

Vandals spray painted a sign paying tribute to Sciullo outside his mom and dad's place. Scuillo and fellow Pittsburgh officers Stephen Mahyle and Eric Kelly were killed in the line of duty in 2009 responding to a domestic dispute.

My first reaction? What the heck! Who thinks it's a joke to disrespect a fallen police officer?

Paul's mom and dad Sue and Paul have become my friends since the shooting. Sue sent me this e-mail about the vandalized sign.

All I can say is that if you're the one who is responsible for this vandalism, shame on you.Turn yourself in.

If you know who did this, turn them in. E-mail me at or pick up the phone and call Pittsburgh Police.

Thanks to the guys from Zone 5 police for cleaning off the sign!
