Chrissy Teigen Gives Local Pizza Restaurant a Social Media Shoutout
Model and author recommends Driftwood Oven to her 11 million followers.
A Pittsburgh restaurant got a celebrity shoutout on Twitter, when model and author Chrissy Teigen stopped by.
Teigen, who is married to singer John Legend, posted on Instagram she was in Pittsburgh for work. On Wednesday night she stopped by Driftwood Oven in Lawrenceville, and it is safe to say she liked the food:
Although she slipped up with the name, she was quick to correct it when a fan pointed out the mistake.
Teigen has nearly 11 million followers on Twitter , and Driftwood Oven was happy with the exposure!
In addition to her modeling career, Teigen has published two cookbooks and will host the upcoming comedy series "Bring the Funny" on NBC.
By the way, Teigen isn't the only one who enjoys Driftwood Oven. Pirates pitcher James Taillon saw her tweet, and said he also likes to treat himself to a slice after a game:
Driftwood Oven speacializes in sourdough pizza, and was named one of Bon Appetit's Top 50 Best New Restaurants in 2018. They've also already updated their Twitter bio to reflect their newest celebrity endorsement:
