Cadbury Names Winner of Bunny Auditions

Honor goes to Henri the English Bulldog.

As Easter approaches, Cadbury has named the winner of its first-ever "bunny tryouts," as pets from across the country auditioned to appear in the new 2019 ad campaign. Pet owners submitted pictures of their furry friends in bunny ears, and the "cream" rose to the top:

That's right, Henri the English Bulldog was named the winner! Henri lives with his owners Kathie & Tim Santillo in Wilmington, NC. More than 4,000 entries were submitted, which were then narrowed down to 20 semifinalists.

"You can't go a day without seeing adorable pets flood your social media channels. The pride that pet moms and dads have for their fur babies is undeniable," says Katrina Vatter, marketing team member, Cadbury US. "For years we've seen sweet photos of their animals donning the famous Cadbury bunny ears and now we want to give pet owners the chance to show off their pets in our iconic ad."

Henri will get to start in an upcoming Cadbury "Clucking Bunny" ad.

WECT News in Wilmington reports Henri's family will be given $5,000 , which they plan to spend on Henri, and Cadbury will be donating $10,000 to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
