Black Friday And A Bloody Inspiring Moment Of Kindness
What happened while I was standing in line at a Kohl's store wasn't just shocking it was awe inspiring and heartwarming.
I'm not sure why I decided to venture out into the retail world on Black Friday this year but I'm glad I did. While I was picking up some bargains and doing some Amazon returns at a Kohl's department store in Ross Township, PA I witnessed something rather amazing.
A woman who was waiting in line a few feet ahead of me cut her hand on a suitcase. When she asked the ladies at the customer service desk if anyone had a band-aid, no one did... but then this sweet, older gentleman chimed in saying "I have one". He quickly opened his wallet and pulled out not one, but two Band-Aids, offering them to the woman.

As she said "thank you so much" you could see the faces of everyone around her light up with smiles right away. I said to the woman and man ahead of me, "There's something you don't see every day!" and they both said they've never seen anything like it.
As they man passed us with his wife, everyone stopped him to say a few words of praise about how wonderful it was that he did that.
It just goes to show you how a simple act of kindness can make a big difference. It certainly turned around my day, as well as those around me. I may even start to squirrel away a bandage or two in my wallet. You never know when someone may need one.
