About Everyday Heroes
Everyday Heroes do really big things without a second thought and often refuse to take credit or praise. They're the first responders who put their lives on the line for strangers and the regular folks who are willing to go the extra mile to make sure their neighbors are safe and sound.
In our Everyday Heroes section, you'll watch the dash-cam video of a cop rescuing a man from his car stuck on railroad tracks, just before the car is crushed by a train. You'll see surveillance video of a passer-by pulling a man from his burning SUV moments before it exploded and cell-phone video of strangers combining their strength to lift a car and rescue a woman pinned underneath. Meet the cheerleader who leaped from a parade float to save the life of a boy who was choking and the woman who walked across the country to raise money for homeless pets. The marathon runners who stopped their races to help others struggling to make it across the finish line and the volunteers who carried a woman with multiple sclerosis up a mountain to grant her childhood bucket list dream.
The tales of our Everyday Heroes are stories of drama and inspiration that will make you glad these people were at the right place at the right time to make a difference.
