A Fair in the Park
At the 50th anniversary of A Fair in the Park, you'll find two stages programmed with entertainment, kids activities, artist demos, and food trucks throughout the 3 days, plus incredible art!
A Fair in the Park is an artist-led, artist-run fine arts festival presented by the Craftsmen's Guild of Pittsburgh. In its 50th year, A Fair in the Park will host 100 fine artisans and skilled craftsmen from Pittsburgh and across the country in the lush surroundings of Pittsburgh's Mellon Park in Shadyside on the edge of Squirrel Hill and Point Breeze. The festivities will take place on Friday, September 6th from 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Saturday, September 7th from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, and Sunday, September 8th from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm.
This year as a part of our 50th celebration, shoppers will find a retrospective booth of featured artists who have been involved with the fair for over 20 years, and are now retired from actively participating. These artists will display their work on a rotating basis during the show.
On top of the incredible art, there will be two stages programmed with entertainment, kids activities, artist demonstrations, and food trucks throughout the 3 days.
This event is FREE and open to the public.
