A Double Good Deed: A Car Repaired And Toilet Paper Delivered
We were in the right place at the right time to help some out-of-towners whose car broke down searching for toilet paper.
It was a double whammy.
Josh and his friends drove to Pittsburgh from Indiana, PA in search of toilet paper because the shelves were bare in their community. Everyone seems to be searching for toilet paper these days because of the coronavirus scare.
Their search was interrupted when their car broke down. All of a sudden, they heard a noise and realized their coolant hose had exploded and the car started smoking.
I happened to be in the neighborhood, delivering a table and chairs to an unprepared telecommuter when I saw the commotion. Not wanting to leave Josh and friends stranded, my helper Dylan and I drove to the nearest auto supply store and bought a new hose and jugs of coolant.

I put my auto mechanic skills to work and got the car working again, then made sure to share some of the extra rolls of toilet paper I had at home.
It's a lucky thing I was there. "We really appreciate it," Josh said.
A double good deed done!
