7th Grader Earns $15,000 at County Fair, Donates it All to Charity
His act of kindness proves that you can be a hero at any age.
When most 7th graders are concerned about the new pair of shoes they'll wear on the first day of school, 14-year-old Diesel Pippert of Huron County, OH has donated $15,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Diesel earned the money at the Huron County Fair selling livestock. Instead of keeping his earnings, he decided to give the money to the research hospital to help those less fortunate than him.
A post from the Western Reserve School District about Diesel's good deed went viral and prompted thousands of shares and comments. The school congratulated Diesel's generosity and said that his act of kindness should "be an example to us all." Others said they were moved to make their own donations after hearing about Diesel.

One person commented, "Wouldn't it be wonderful if all of us commenting on Diesel's compassion and generosity would follow his example and also donate to St Jude's in his name. I will!!"
You can donate to St. Jude's Hospital by visiting the Donate page on their website . All donations go directly to St. Jude's to help fund research and find cures for childhood cancer.
